Maher Ghawji, MD

Biography

Dr. Ghawji was born in Damascus; Syria; where he obtained his medical degree in 1983. He completed undergraduate studies in endocrinology and andrology at Claude Bernard University in Lyon; France; then underwent residency training in New York City Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1992.

Dr. Ghawji has practiced in Memphis since 1996. His medical interests include general and reproductive endocrinology; diabetes; and thyroid disorders. In his free time; Dr. Ghawji enjoys watching soccer, playing pickleball, and gardening.
