Biography
Dr. Imad Omer; the third physician to join the group in 2002; completed his undergraduate studies in chemistry at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville; graduating magna cum laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He continued with his medical training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where he was honored with many awards. He completed his internship in internal medicine and a fellowship in infectious diseases at UAB; where he received numerous awards for excellence in teaching. Board-certified in infectious diseases in 2002; he currently serves as an assistant professor for UTCHS.
Married to Saadia and father to three sons; Dr. Omer loves Arkansas football; attending his sons’ sporting events; and spending spare time with his family.
